Tanysha Walls is a 2020-21 Texas DFW Policy Fellow who teaches math and science at The Leadership Academy at John T. White Elementary School, where she also is a Master Teacher and Grade Level Chair. Tanysha is a Teach for America alum for the Corps of 2015. She has previously been a member of the Teaching Trust fellows for school leadership teams. Tanysha has previously taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade self-contained. She has been on the leadership team and served as Grade Level Chair for several years in various grade levels. Tanysha graduated from Valparaiso University with a BA in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology and received her MEd in teaching Mathematics from Southern Methodist University.
