Rebeca Vallejo is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow. Rebeca is a 9th-12th grade Spanish teacher and world language department chair at Hiram W. Johnson High School in Sacramento, California. Rebeca began her teaching career as a Spanish teacher at Luther Burbank High School, where she taught courses for native and heritage speakers, beginners, and the International Baccalaureate Language A course. Rebeca graduated from California State University with a BA in Spanish and a minor in education, a single subject teaching credential with bilingual authorization, and an MS in counseling with career specialization.
