Emily Feldhake

Emily joins Teach Plus as the National Evaluation and Continuous Improvement Manager, supporting program evaluation, and will collaborate with national and regional teams on ensuring data quality and reporting and external impact communication.

Before joining Teach Plus, Emily was the Attendance Data Analyst for Chicago Public Schools in the Office of Student Support and Engagement. She has also spent the last six years working for nonprofits in Chicago, supporting their evaluation work, including for Youth Guidance as the Manager of Quality Improvement and Mercy Home as the Manager of Program Evaluation.

Emily’s interest in evaluation and quality improvement work arose from working with middle school students and their families as a Match Corps fellow in Boston, where she worked as a tutor and coach in a middle school, and her experience working as a residential youth care worker at Mercy Home in Chicago.

Emily received her Master’s in Public Policy from The University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and earned her BA in Psychology and Creative Writing from Hope College. Emily enjoys playing board games, cooking, and going for long walks or runs in her spare time and lives in Chicago, IL.
