As People Operations Associate, Sam will work with the People team to deliver exceptional service to our staff, support engagement and community-building efforts across the organization, assist with all people-related activities from recruitment to payroll and benefits administration, and participate in continuous improvement efforts for all people-related systems.
Sam brings experience in the non-profit sector with the core of her experience working in social justice organizations that bridge the opportunity gaps in the BIPOC community and those who are first-gen college students or may have disabilities. In her recent role as Recruitment Coordinator at Bridgespan, she partnered with hiring managers and assisted in onboarding, and before that, she provided career coaching at Boston Private Industry Council (PIC), a community-based organization and program that hires Boston Public School Students at Madison Park High School.
Sam is a Boston Native, and in her free time, she enjoys hobbies such as sewing, swimwear, and traveling. She holds a BA in Management with a minor in fashion and is pursuing an MBA online in Human Resource Management at Fitchburg State.
