Shreya Agrawal

Shreya Agrawal joins Teach Plus as the Chief of Staff, responsible for facilitating the ongoing strategy development process and stewarding that strategy through annual planning, progress monitoring, and org-wide communications activities.

Before joining Teach Plus, Shreya worked at Teach for America for five years, focused on providing support on strategy-related projects to executive directors and developing more integrated pathways across multiple national teams. She started her career in education as a Miami-Dade corps member, teaching middle school math.

Shreya has twelve years of experience working in social sector roles, including global public health, focusing on strategy, data collection techniques, health system strengthening, maternal and child health, and community mobilization. Her work took her to many countries, including Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, and India.

Shreya has an MBA from the Yale School of Management, with a focus on nonprofit management and global social enterprise, and a Master’s degree in international public health from Johns Hopkins University. Shreya lives in Nebraska with her husband and two little kids and serves on the board of directors of multiple local non-profits.
