Whole child, student-centered learning

We are calling on schools, districts, and states to prioritize the whole child.

We are ensuring that educators meet the needs of the whole child, including support for implementing the science of learning in their schools and classrooms.

Engaging and supporting the whole child—including their social, emotional, cognitive, and academic growth—is critical to success in school and in life. We are leading efforts from the classroom to the Capitol to ensure that schools have the information, resources, and professional learning opportunities necessary to meet the needs of the whole child, based on the science of learning.
